The Boyfriend in Space AKA Help Pick Jeff's Next Doctor Who Story

For every 5 lbs I lose, my boyfriend, Jeff (shockingly not a Doctor Who fan), watches one Doctor Who story with me. This is the concession I have made to my wallet. My original plan, which he dubbed the geekiest weight loss plan ever devised, consisted of me buying one Doctor Who DVD for every 5 lbs lost but, after looking more closely at the prices of said DVDs that plan was scrapped. I was quite bummed but, being a quick thinker, I just performed a little jiggery pokery and voila! New and improved incentive program.

I love sharing the the things I love with the people I love and there's a line from the Malcolm in the Middle episode Flashback that sums up that sentiment wonderfully. Hal and Lois are fighting and she asks him to tell her seven things that he loves about her, his last thing really hit home: "I love that nothing in my life, not cribbage with my dad, not a new Van Halen album, not even an old Van Halen album for that matter, or any of their solo albums...I love that nothing in my life is complete until I've shared it with you." That's just a fabulous description of love that really resonates with me.

So yes it might seem silly but, this incentive worked for me. I lost 30 lbs last year! Which means we watched six stories (you didn't really need my help there did you?) The Daleks, The Time Meddler, The Enemy of the World, Invasion of the Dinosaurs, Robots of Death, and Stones of Blood. It was all going well, then I got sick, then I sprained my ankle. You know how the story goes. I fell off the wagon and had a hard time getting back on so it has been awhile since Jeff and I have watched Classic Doctor Who together. Well, I'm back on the wagon now and I hope to have lost another 5 lbs in a couple of weeks. This means I need to figure out which Classic Doctor Who story I should share with Jeff next.

I like to make it as enjoyable as possible for him so I pick episodes that have elements I think he'll like (robots, funny old ladies, science!). It has been so long though I didn't want to leave this up to chance so I created a survey which he lovingly completed. I was hoping other Classic Doctor Who fans could help me pick a story, based on his answers below.
Of the Classic stories you've watched (Invasion of the Dinosaurs, Robots of Death, Stones of Blood, The Daleks, The Enemy of the World, and The Time Meddler) which was your favorite and what did you like most about that story?
Stones of Blood.  The crazy old lady.

Which was your least favorite and what did you hate the most about that story?

Invasion of the Dinosaurs.  I don't know, I can't really remember what happened in it other than there were dinosaurs. [In fairness to Invasion of the Dinosaurs (which I quite like) he fell asleep about halfway though due to a late start and a good amount of beer.]
Of the Doctors you have watched (Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee, Baker, Eccelston, Tennant, and Smith) who was your favorite and why?
Hartnell.  Seems to be the most fallible.
Which one did you like the least and what was it that made you hate them so much?
Baker, Eccelston, Tennant, and Smith.  Four way tie. They all seem like the same character to me.  Know-it-alls feigning aloofness.
Of the companions you have watched (Ian, Barbara, Susan, Vicki, Steven, Jamie, Victoria, Sarah Jane, The Brigadier, Leela, K9, Romana I, Rose, Amy, Rory, River, and Clara [Yes, I count the Brig, K9 and River as companions, big whoop wanna fight about it?]) who was your favorite and why?
Ian and Barbara, because they don't want to be there but still make the best of it.

Who was your least favorite and why?
River.  "Spoilers!" is a very sophomoric catchphrase for a time traveler.
Of the villains/monsters you have watched which has been your favorite and why?
Daleks. They seem to be the most evil.
Which was your least favorite and why?
Daleks.  I have a hard time willingly suspending my disbelief to see the toilet plunger as threatening in anyway.
Please rearrange the following in order of importance to you:
1  Other quarri...I mean planets
7   Science!
8   Story
2   Effects
4   Robots
5   Interesting Concepts
9   Guns and Ammo
6   Character Development
3   Humor
Finally, is there anyone/thing you have heard me blather on about that you are specifically interested in learning more about? (i.e.; The Master as played by Roger Delgado or Ace beating up Daleks with a baseball bat?)
Nope
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
You're welcome.
So, your mission, should you choose to accept it my fellow Classic Doctor Who fans, suggest a story that you think Jeff will like in the comments below. The one that gets the most mentions will be the one I show him. Thanks a bunch for reading!
